Abstract:
Scalp skin and hair plays an important part in the personality and appearance hence a play a vital part in enhancing the beauty of the child. Increasing incidence and prevalence of scalp skin and hair disorders such as Seborrheic Dermatitis in children has been emerging as realchallenge in paediatric age group. Hence need of the hour isto discover effective and safe drugfor management of childhood Seborrheic Dermatitis. Seborrheic Dermatitis can be comparedwithArumshika explained in Ayurveda, which is categorised as Shirokushtha.In anAyurvedic text Sahastrayogam, AnkoladiTail has been mentioned a good remedy for ShiroKushtha, and same was taken in the present clinical study to evaluate efficacy of AnkoladiTail in themanagement of Seborrheic Dermatitis in paediatric practice.
